Daily Bible Reading Plan
The Bible tells us “to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds…” (Romans 12:2)
Very simply, we are either in the process of being shaped by the world, to look like the world – or we are being transformed to look like something altogether different. This transformation, the Bible says, comes through the “renewing of the mind.” The phrase literally means a changing of the mind. The agent of this transformation is the Word of God. John 17:17 says “Sanctify them in the Truth; Your Word is Truth.”
The reality is our priorities, our actions, our very lives change, when our minds are full of and are shaped by the Word of God. That is the reality. It takes effort. There are no shortcuts. Yet, the promise holds, as we endeavor into the Word of God – we are changed!
The Bible reading plan that follows will take you chronologically through the entire Bible in a year. It is not meant to be daunting or burdensome, but rather is intended to lead you thoughtfully through God’s Word. If you miss a day or even many days – no worries – pick up again where you left off! Just know God will bless the effort. We have included our brief notes, thoughts, and questions from our reading. We are praying that your “transformation” will bring much glory to our Savior Jesus.
